I grabbed a few photos on my phone from this weekend’s wedding at the Carleen Bright Arboretum Pavilion and had to share them with you (please excuse the phone quality).
Last fall I got the chance to meet Caroline and her mom, Nancy. They were excited about Caroline and David’s upcoming wedding and wanted to make sure they had everything done leading up to the big day.
Caroline and David met at Baylor University. They are both incredibly smart and funny. Having listened to stories about them and watched them together, they value laughter, family and faith. They also have a perfectly healthy appreciation for the geeky things in life, as displayed in their table name choices.
After looking at how many months we had before the wedding, I split the tasks up into a manageable amount each month. Since Nancy lived in a different city, we had a conference call once a month to go over that month’s tasks. Nancy and Caroline put so much work and detail into the wedding. I’ve never seen so many friends and family come together to put all the details together. Caroline’s friends even decorated the arch with flowers. It came together beautifully!
I have to brag on the wedding vendors as well. The Carleen Bright Arboretum Pavilion was beautiful with a ton of natural light flooding in, and the hosts were so helpful and nice to work with. Laurie at Festive Occasion Catering bent over backwards to create a coffee shop feel with the display, add drink name tags with fictional character names and meet various food allergy needs. Kristin (and Matt) Crawford Photography were ready for every detail and I loved looking through their work with the engagement session. The DJ was Joe Olivares, who did a fantastic job leading the reception and helping the couple find songs that entertained everyone.
It’s been such a joy to coordinate Caroline and David’s beautiful wedding. Their fun personalities are shown in so much of their wedding. Congrats you two! Live long, and prosper. #becoywithme
