links.Who are we? A quirky couple who fell in love in college (go UMHB!), dated long-distance afterward and got married outside in Texas in June (it was actually beautiful). Are we crazy? Debatable, but we’re dedicated to a plan and see it through to the end because we have back-ups in place. We both like to help people have a good time, laugh and make everyone feel comfortable during sessions. Don’t let the baby-faces fool you – we’re a dynamic duo that have helped and supported others for years.
Katelyn is the photographer and certified event planner. She has many articles published, including in San Antonio Weddings Magazine. She was a public relations and business major who loves to read (understatement), dances when she can and resembles a cat in the switch from stoic to hyper excitement (focused on the moment). Katelyn loves to bake (and taste), travel and listen to music. She also LOVES chocolate, but we don’t talk about.
Matthew is the photographer assistant and behind-the-scenes manager. He was a graphic design major who enjoys playing video games with friends and hunting with family. Matthew loves NCIS, Star Wars and cooking new recipes (especially from Pioneer Woman). He’s got a positive attitude and fun hair that we joke about.
Why do we do what we do?
We love to get to know people and interact with them. We love enjoy life with people and helping them see themselves the way their loved ones see them. We love helping people…period. We love to share ideas and assist in some way to calm hectic days. After all, that leads back to helping people enjoy life, and then we can enjoy it with them.

You’ll see several of our shoots, wedding inspiration that we’ve gathered to share with you, tips and ideas on how to plan a wedding, how to prepare for a photo session and glimpses into our life. You may even get a few glimpses of our energetic, black lab puppy, Duke.
