Benjamin has been planning his proposal for a while and wanted to be hands-on with the details, right down to building the arch and helping plan outfits. I was so excited to be part of this Waco proposal photography session.
Under the guise of getting senior portraits (he’s graduating this Spring from Baylor University), Benjamin told Dorothy he wanted some photos with her. So he helped coordinate their outfits and treated her to a manicure so she felt ready for the session. They arrived at the Falls on the Brazos Park in Marlin for their session, a place Dorothy enjoyed while growing up. He led her on a short walk where they found the arch (decorated by their mothers) and he surprised her by proposing.
Dorothy was completely shocked. This sweet couple was so sweet and genuinely excited to be together.
