I’ve known Karen for several years. She has a beautiful and fun personality, which you can see in her smile. She was diagnosed with cancer last year. I’ve been moved by all the photos and comments she’s posted on Facebook. Karen has been embracing each moment, and inviting others to be a part of her journey.
We decided to capture three different stages of her life right now, including a photo with her sweet husband who shaved his head to match her new look. We had a fun day of makeup, learning how to tie a head scarf and laughs during the photo session.
I really enjoyed the time with Karen and am blessed to know her.
