Congratulations on your engagement! This is a really exciting time in your life. It’s also probably going to be a bit stressful.
During this next year, I want to walk through this process with you. I’ll give you a 12 Month Guide to planning your wedding and explain things along the way. You can start from the beginning here (click). Come back to this blog each week for the next installment.
Week 18 – Vendor Checklist
Hope you’re honeymoon plans are going well! This week we’ll double check the vendor checklist to make sure you’re on track and ready to move on to smaller details!
It’s important to take a moment to look back at everything we’ve covered and make sure you’re prepared to move on in the planning process. This week, look at the short lists of each vendor category and finalize who you want to hire. Look at the costs and figure out who is paying for what.
To make it easier, here’s a free Wedding Vendor Checklist download. Once you have hired somebody, write down the company name, their best contact information, the price, when it was paid and who took care of it. Keep this on hand. You can give it to your Wedding Planner or whoever is managing the schedule on the wedding day.
And…that’s it for this week. Make sure your duck are in a row. If you have everything finished, then you get a week off! Congrats! Enjoy it, there’s more to come.
Have you finished? Who do you have left to find?
Next week we’ll talk about Save-The-Dates!
