Cinderella Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot

Disney just came out with their live-action version of Cinderella so I wanted to share my own Cinderella story with you.

I had the vision for a Cinderella Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot (you may have seen my earlier post about it) and had the privilege of teaming up with some amazing local vendors, including Hip Pixel Photography who did the awesome behind-the-scenes video below.

The shoot has classic Cinderella story details, French antiques and modern elements and twists so brides can hopefully see themselves in the scenes. The shoot took place in an old warehouse that has been renovated into a ballroom (The Phoenix Ballroom was stunning). We placed the ceremony in front of the fireplace (where Cinderella’s story began) and incorporated a mixture of normal items like bobbins of thread, silver pumpkins and a clock with more ornate glass jars, candles and silver candelabras. The reception transitions into a more elegant setting with a light and airy feel. The reception table is flanked by authentic, French antique balloon chairs (thank you so much Papillon Antiques). The table setting has silver pumpkin place card holders (a DIY project), French antique napkin rings and bird salt and pepper shakers. Our bride is dressed in a ballgown (courtesy of Georgio’s Bridal Salon) with modern “slippers” and a silver mask (also from the original tale). And our prince was decked out in a modern tux, complete with an ascot (well done Squires Formalwear). By incorporating some of the classic story moments in photos, a bride can have a storybook album.

We hope you enjoy this Cinderella Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot!
