What a joy it is to welcome a new life into this world! I got to take the Johnson family’s newborn portraits in Waco and it was so fun! It was so sweet to watch Brianna and Sam snuggle with their little girl.
She was not sure about whether she liked the photography session or not, but you know what? That’s actually normal. Newborn sessions are typically longer because babies work on their own schedule, need to be nursed and calmed, and it gives the family time to take things easy and slowly soak up the moment. Can you imagine how overwhelming it is for the poor child to come into the world and then asked to smile? 🙂
Sam and Brianna were marvelous about helping their little one and soothing her. She knew who her parents were and loved being snuggled up close to them both.
