Olivia’s first birthday party was such a special event. She was the grand prize winner from our New Year’s giveaway and it was so fun to celebrate this milestone with the family.
Look at the adorable decorations and buffet. I absolutely love that the breakfast table became an enormous charcuterie board. And how adorable is this smash cake? Olivia loved it, though she ate like a little lady without any smashing.
It is always such an honor to be entrusted with capturing memories for clients throughout a child’s lifetime. Olivia’s posed and played in front of our cameras several times. I remember at the beginning she wasn’t really sure what to make of the whole situation and we spent the first 15 minutes just getting comfortable with each other so she didn’t feel so shy and scared of the camera (must be a little scary when you’re a baby and somebody plays peek-a-boo behind a large black box). Now she waves to me and plays happily.
We were even able to take a four generation photo with Olivia, her daddy, her grandmother and her great-grandmother! So special.
